3 legged JumP [of the lost Q]

  After all the troubles this unit has put us through, it has decided to jump again.
  I had a perfectly excellent NPN FF Board, and it was safely [i thought] in the testjig tray...but..one wires had 'clipped onto' somthing and when it 'clipped off', I guess that transistor decided to 'jump offboard'...
  It probably jumped directly into my shirtpocket [I didn't check there], but I went through HUGE PILES of MESS...that I happen to have...trays of parts, boxes of parts/stacked, parts on the bench, a space behind the bench...which dumps into a very dark and mysterious area at the back corner/floor of the room...under the bench..behind more piles of mostly junk...
  It was not to be that this transistor, lost before being shipped, implemented beautifully into a FF and coming in at 117Hfe...would get into a boxed effects unit...not yesterday...when I spent over an hour with a 500w quarts search light searching for it...IT hid.
