I was gonna make a 3pdt switch componant in expresspcb, but I found it can only do round holes.  Any suggestions on how I would get around this?
Thanks

What 3PDT switch are you looking at using?  Each one has a different pin layout.

measure the widest portion of each solder lug and add a tiny bit for clearance. but make sure u use that measurement for the inner diameter of the pad. Then just add a hefty amount of solder and u get a nice snug fit.

I did it in Express PCB by putting the image in MS paint and creating the holes.  Alittle cumbersome but it works well for me.  In fact, all of my layouts I've posted were processed in MS paint eventually before posting.

Here's an example of the 3PDT-on-pcb:

So, just use the round hole but make sure the diameter is big enough for the rectangular pins?  I'm speaking about the regular old blue 3pdt.  Any other hints?
Thanks

It seems that this gallery is no longer available. Did someone manage to make a copy of the 3PDT-on-pcb file? Thanks!

Just measure from lug to lug in each direction, and make the holes with a diameter slightly larger than the width of the lugs.
