Hy, I'm new here.
I'm from Croatian so my English is not so good :-\

I built DS-1 mod from http://diy.erikhansen.net/ds1.htm but I dont sure is it correct...

Red circles are LED diodes and one brown rectangle is diode (I don't sure is it all the same which diode to use, D5 or D4?)
I noticed that LED diodes light more weakly (or little, I dont know how to say, but the light is less) then Chack LED.
Please comment this and give me some advice. Tell me how do you think that works the best, because I'm a beginner in electronic :)

btw: which LED diodes is best to use in this situation

jeroen_verbeeck

That is a good scheme. It lets you select between a LED and some other diode.
You can use whatever diode you like, silicium, germanium, led, and more.
You can use 1, or put 2 or more in series.

There's no good or wrong here, just experiment untill you find something you like.

Mario

And which LED diode go out at enclosure, from D4 or D5?

Mario

Which diode is best to use on "green ractangle"...?
Tell me some.

johngreene

Usually the diode you find in an old piece of junk, that has no identifying marks so there's no hope you will ever find another one like it, works the best.

Thenks "jeroen_verbeeck" and "vanhansen" for help. I finished my DS-1 modding. But I occasionaly broke yellow wire (string). So now I'm not sure when I need connect it. It's not broke (fall out) from tablet...
