Photocell idiotwah

Hi,

I'd like to replace the pot on my idiot wah for a photocell to create somekind of wah that I could play by lifting my toes above it, instead of using a rocker. So my question is: what's the easiest way to replace a pot for a photocell?

well I just replaced the pot with a LDR, and it was funny, but very difficult to work well. It was putting the toe to shadow the ldr or let the light pass. There should be a better way to do this...

Maybe if I put a LED beside it and shadow the led instead of the LDR?
