A few months ago I saw a tremolo mod by Colin for the Small Clone that used a switch to put a resistor from Pin 1 of the LM358 to the 4.5V line.

This mod worked but didn't give control over the depth of the tremolo.

So after some some work I did this mod to my Small Clone.

I used a VacTec VTL5C1 which has a very high dark resistance and a low light resistance.

After doing this mod I noticed a slight volume drop so changing the 33K going from Pin 6 to Pin 7 of the 4558 to 39K or 47K should solve the volume drop.
Using the 5K pot the is still a little depth with the control at min but not extremely noticable.
The 1K resistor can be lowered or raised to set the maximum depth.

I also tried a homemade LED/LDR but it caused more volume drop and you would need a larger value pot than 5K for the tremolo depth pot.
So I went with the VTL5C1.

Bump!
Any chance we could have the image reposted...? Almost enough info in the text... but not quite.
