How do I test the voltages in my Rangemaster using a multimeter?

I would like to test the pin voltages for the OC-44 in my Rangemaster clone.  How should this be done using a multimeter?

Set your multimeter to the proper DC voltage setting (on most it's probably 20v).  If you have alligator clips I find it's easier to clip the black (or negative/common) probe to ground.  Either way, apply the black probe to ground and the red (positive) probe to each pin of the transistor and notate your readings.  Then compare them against the suggested voltages in R.G.'s wonderful Atboost.PDF article on GEO and adjust as needed.

That's it...

i like near 7.0volts on collector... any higher or lower and i don't like it as much  :icon_wink:

BTW the OC44 sounds good in the rangemaster...
