for a variable notch?

If one puts a pot in series with (or in place of) the .5 R does this allow for a variable range of scoop? - scoop/ no scoop? or just change the Q of the scoop?

yes I know there's a ton of stuff at geo, etc (that stuff is almost making sense to me  - after reading it over and over and over . . .).

I'll try it anyway . . .


Or, is one supposed to pan (with a pot ) between a signal that is scooped and one that is not?
