...What else we gonna talk about...
I know of many, and don't mind re-hashing the ideas.
But ask...because I want to *wedge my pedals down with straps...
If anyone has found a '*Screw Strap' source.
By that I mean a 'strap [wire or...] that terminates at one end with threads, the other end is made fast, the  pedal could be put in, then strapped down securely.
I think of a pedal board for my Wah and a Boss Style box, also a larger box, and maybe a power supply WW...all tied to the same board.
I believe if I could get screwstraps and use them, they could be used to fairly quickly tie down just about any shape pedal.
I've gone as far as to envision 'superwood' [like HarD] thin 'over-the-pedal' boards and long-through screws sandwiching/clamping pedals between wood pieces, my EQ wouldn't fare well with that theoretical technology'.
The best I could find so far [and it's not that good IMO] is wire straps [I'd put padding/tubing on in] that are sort of available...you've seen stranded tension cables that have the 'terminus fastener', a piece of metal that has a hole in it, securely fastened to the cable end that has a hole in it.
Also I want something that only needs a pedal 'board that is 6 or so inches 'deep' [under the pedal, heel to toe], letting the wah hang over, bike chain mounting tech. wouldn't work for this, as well...I have plastic, wood, and metal I want fastened, 'Overstraps" seem the best option for me except I'm trying to figure the easiest/best method, and...trying to source the pieces.

I was thinking of adding this kind feature to my board with plain-old bungee cords and no hardware.

Buy bungee cords at home centre store.
Cut off the hooks.
Drill holes in surface of pedalboard on either side of the pedal position.
Feed bungee through hole on left side and tie off in a large knot.
Measure and cut bungee.
Feed bungee through hole on right side and tie off in large knot.

Easy, no tools to change pedals, and bungee shouldn't scratch yer pedals.
It's time to buy a gun. That's what I've been thinking.
