I did a similar mod, not quite the same values, but effect should be similar........
its really crazy, makes lots of noise, if that is your bag.  I paralled this with something like colins parallel universe, and a simple fuzz with some buffers here and there for total (and fairly guitar-sound-free) chaos. it dont sound like jimi tho.
