Ok i know theres a lot info about it. I searched this forum but i still cant find a schematic for the Fulltone Bassdrive!
Anyone who can give me a direct and working link?
I really, really need it!

thanks

Damn I love my pedals...

The Bassdrive and the FD-2 are nearly identical. The cap in the RC-network connected to the FB-loop is 220nF to 330nF and the cap in the low pass network after IC1a is a 68nF tantal electrolytic in the bassdrive.

Schem for the the FD-2 can be downloaded from different sites on the web.

are you really sure about that? If yes, thanks a lot!

Yes, that's the deal. I have the schematic somewhere, but as JHS said, it is so simple

I compared an old old FD-2 for bass and the blue bassdrive a while ago and they were regular old FD-2 ex. those 2 caps.

I asked my dealer and he said the new Bassdrives are silver instead of blue but have the same sound as the blue units (acc. to Fuller it's the Bass version of the FD-2, with a bit more bottom compared to the FD-2) .

I mailed my pal to verify  this info. He uses a silver Bassdrive for guitar and he looked inside his BD and those two caps are the only difference compared to FD-2.

I can't tell what type of diodes are under the goop (2 diodes not more) and what chip is in the BD, the chip was gooped too (on the newer unit the marking was removed).

There was an inside pic of the silver Bassdrive in a Bass forum sometime ago on the web, to small to see the details but same board as the FD-2, same layout, same cheap components.

I have somewhere a non-gooped shot of the inside of a bassdrive and the chip is an 4558; the diode-section was not readable but are:
- a 1N400x diode
- a red with a black edge diode (guess a normal 4148)
- a small cap
