I could be wrong, but I *think* I recall seeing Mark Hammer say it was based on the ross compressor, which there are tons of schems around for that.

Given the way Ibanez usually works I'd guess that it's virtually the same as the CP-9 compressor, which is around the 'net somewhere.  Ibanez tends to recycle designs through their different pedal series.

the thing is, I´ve got a BP-5 basscompressor wich has got the same pcb as the CP-5 and I want to see what differs the two apart, to see if it´s possible to make it switchable between guitar and bass !?

FYI for anyone else out there, the CP-5 appears to be the same the CP-10.  Haven't traced out the whole thing but it uses the same BA6110 VCA, so how different could it be?
