Has anyone made their own 9v Pedalboard power supply?  How about the Daisy Chain.

I've looked at the 1Spot and Daisy Chain combo on Ebay.  Just can't seem to get myself to drop almost $30 on it.  Seems like I could get the supplies cheaper from Small Bear and make it myself.

Or am I just being "cheap."

If you just want to "get up and go," the 1Spot is an excellent investment. One builds a Small Wart

I have two 1 spots now. Bill has one also.
Bill said that's the best PS purchase he's ever made or heard of.
I concur, they're quiet, put out steady 9.4v, take 1spot, etc. works great for me.
I've spent that much on other PS's before and had noise problems, one fried [probably misuse]...
