Why do everytime I do one of these they work great...Than I hook up the dpdt switch and they squel :icon_cry:

I like the way they sing the note along........... but with the switch than hooked up dpdt, there is no turning up the volume...sheilded wire ...never used..never needed!!!

I have tried everything to make a stock dual booster not squel with a switch EVERYTHING!!   J201..MPF102...all do it ..IN FACT i HAVE SOME mpf102 THAT ARE EVERYTHING AS GOOD AS A j201..

Cheap switches????

Now I can hook up a single booster to just about anything..added to the end of a tube screamer WHOOOOAAAAA!!   Use it before a Llama LOOOOOK out!!!!  cant do two together >:(

I like the mini booster circuit and use it with everything that I can think of  !!!!!!!  One thing is I use all.1uf values for everythung when I build them..

When i ground or cap things than the dynamics is not there >:(

STUCK ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

Two-stage circuits often oscillate with footswitches, because the output is non-inverted and the input/output leads on the footswitch are too close. Plus, JFETs are extremely sensitive. The solution is to use 3 stages, or use a good quality audio isolation transformer and flip the output leads before going to the footswitch, but that's expensive/hard to find. The 3rd stage doesn't have to be a minibooster, it can be a simple JFET stage designed for the lowest gain possible, so minimize the effect on sound.

Hook up the switch so the input gets grounded when in bypass mode, and use shielded wire.
