Low voltage tubes on e-bay. Might be a good pick up.

Hi
I saw this on e-bay.  12AJ6, 12AE6 and others in this batch are low voltage types (probably from car radios or similar).  I'd like to buy them but I don't have the time for more tube projects, and my missus would would chop me up with the chainsaw.  So if anybody is interested in 12V tubes, go for it.

  Heckuva Deal...
I have a ~2w and a couple 15w amps, one of the 15w amps I put in a mod to have just one 6v6 or the other @~7watts...I use this amp ALOT...even that is more power than I really need for powering 2x12'' Greenbacks to sweet tones for noodling/recording..
From the reviews and clips I've heard of these little amps, I'm sure I would really like one.
...12vdc...that's easy enough to get going...could even be made quite portable w/ BIG battery or an automobiles cigarette lighter PS?

they are 12 volt HEATER tubes, not the 12 volt on plates...  :icon_idea:

Every time I have to reload Windoze, one of the first apps to get re-loaded is TDSL-PE from Duncan's Amp Pages.

The 12AJ6 and 12AE6 are both space charge tubes designed for low voltage applications like 12V car radios. I see several more 12V space charge tubes there, but there are some regular high voltage ones too.

If I had some extra cash I would grab them, partially just to get a package from the home of the Trailer Park Boys. ;)

I bought a sleeve of practically brand new tubes of this guy for US$9 recently too:

There are some bargains to be had!  Don't assume boxed tubes are perfect though.  I bought a pair of "NIB NOS" tubes once that turned out both having slipped bases  >:(
