I'm not sure who posted this - when I first read it - or what thread it was in.  Anyway...

THANK YOU!!

I've done this for the last couple of boards and it's SO much faster.  I don't even bother to heat the etchant anymore.  The board is usually done within the time it takes to clean up the mess from doing the transfer.
