OK, just finished my Bass Boy '59 and I must say it is a great OD unit for bass...... I also own a Flipster and while the Flipster is smooth this unit is completely different for the more gritty bass OD tones. I will box em up together and love em ;)

Thanks MartyMart for this great tone!

Great, I'm glad that you like it :D .... of course it sounds FAB with a "six string axe" too !!
Did you go from schem to vero/PCB or perf ?

Here's the schem for anyone interested :

Many thanks for posting a report, much appreciated  :D

I always perf it........

Box is almost ready; will post it when it is finished. Got two sides: '59 for the bassboy and '65 for the Flipster ;)

Just a little add-on..... do you have problems with the 1M gain pot? Mine is travelling from no gain to full gain on 80%, then the signal dips in and I have quite the same as the 0% setting......

I could use a EQ section to sound even more versatile.

No, sounds like a damaged pot to me ?
Mine increases to around 3/4 pot rotation and then stays put ( gain wise )
I used an edited BMP tone stack on mine which works quite well, gives
me "fat and bassy" to "thin and trebly" tones :D

Weird..... I thought the same, so I check multiple pots.

All pots I tested had the same (around 6 pots)..........

Also build the pedal now twice and still the problem stays there.

I dont have an answer, I've now built three with no problems and just checked mine, the gain increases
up to 100% of the pot ...
I would check the link from Q1 to Q3's drain and make sure Q3 is wired correctly ... I KNOW it looks "odd" but
it's as per the amp schem and it works !
Voltages :
Q1 drain 4v      source 2.1v
Q2 drain 4.2v   source 2.4v
Q3 drain 6.5v   source 4.6v
Q4 drain 4.2v   source 2.3v
