Ok I have someone that wants a mute switch and I am having trouble finding a schematic and coming up with one on my own. What I need is two input jacks and two output jacks, wired serparate with a switch to mute both signals, then also a momentary switch to stutter the signal.

I was thinking I could run a 3pdt switch between the two inputs and outputs and also be able to add an LED but I am unsure if that will work or if I need some sort of mosfet switching or something else. Any help or links would be great thanks.

Just use the switch to short the hot wire to ground. Easily done with a 3DPT if you want a LED indicator in there as well.

You need a DPDT momentary and a DPDT on/off switch, wired in series as per the diagram.

Ok, can someone help me out with the 3pdt wiring I dont quite understand how that would work, I have made some effects but I am still a beginner in electronics.

Something like this

use the remaining section there on the left to turn a LED on/off (if you want the LED on when its muted use the top and the middle one, if you want the LED on when its not muted use the middle and bottom)

Thanks alot thats what I was looking for.
