fuzz circuits that use transformers

I got a set of LT-44 transformers with intent of doing the ring stinger clone.  I'm not going to get around to it. They have 20k primary and 1K secondary w/ center tap (i think..im no transformer expert). BUT, does anybody know of any fuzz circuits that use these for something ring-mod like?

any other ideas for using them appreciated

If you've got 3, you could use 1 to step voltage up (ie drive the 1K side with an op-amp), and input to a passive ring modulator (4 diode ring plus one transformer), then use the other to step voltage down and out.
I built a thing I called the Dalekator using the same method, with reasonable results.  The voltage step-up really helps remove the effect of diode losses.

unfortunately, I only have 2. I am, however...interested in the possible passive ring mod schematics out there...most of the ones Ive seen were intended for analog synthesis purposes, has anybody seen some adapted for guitar pedal use?

The only circuit I know that uses that transformer is the John Hollis "Titan Boost". I realize it's not a ring mod, but it is an excellent boost if you want to get into Knoffler land. It has an up octave feature you can tack on with 4 diodes, but in my build, it really only warms the tone, and doesn't do a good up octave. Hotter pick ups would probably make that happen. I have a little schematic drawn up to show how to switch them in and out if you're interested.
