Metal polishing question

I'm wondering if it is possible to get a good polished look out of a metal box that has had some holes filled using JB Weld... I may try it anyway but I thought I would ask first becuase I'll just paint it if its not possible.

sure, get some gloss-metallic paint. 

kidding aside, jbweld is a bit dull, and doesn't really polish.
