Is this how to convert the Parapedal to negative ground?

I tried reversing the diode at the power supply (I used a germanium diode) and reversed the polarity of the 2  33uf caps to make their negative ends connect to ground. All I'm getting is weird hum and no guitar signal..... just wondering if I needed to do something else to make this work.

I think the main thing you would have to do is connect all the opamp Vcc+ pins +9V instead of 0V and connect the Vcc- pins to ground instead of -9V. Reverse that diode and orient any electrolytic capacitors accordingly.

Thanks Seljer...... I forgot about the IC's. I'll cut some traces, do some some rerouting with wires and will post back. Hope I didn't blow those 4558's, sheesh!!!

Okay, I swapped the Vcc- and Vcc+ pins around. The hum is gone,but still no guitar signal.
Do I need to reverse pins 2 & 3 and 5 & 6 too? That would be 1IN- /1IN+ and 2IN- and 2IN+ for the 4558 IC's I'm using.
        I'm guessing I should, but I read elsewhere in this forum that it might be possible to run those either way, if my memory is correct.
         I'm going to swap out the 4558's and just take it from there...... feel free to chime in if I'm still missing something through my stumbling.

@#$**@!!&$!!!!  I had to give up...... even though I gave it my best shot.. I made a real mess of the board hacking it up to relocate the IC pads with cut traces and jumper wires, probably made my mistake there. I'm going to just start fresh with another PCB...... positive ground this time.
