I love Gilmour's sound, and i know that he have a deluxe electric mistress 18vdc modify by Pete Cornish...in witch way - i don't know... ???
So i would appreciate your opinion on witch one to build...IF YOU HAVE SOME SOUND SAMPLE IT WOULD BE REALLY APPRECIATE..... :icon_biggrin: :icon_biggrin: :icon_biggrin:

Thank's to all of you....

Long live the music.....

MAX1044 can do the 18v...for you pretty easy.
Just make sure you use 25v caps and you can try both I *guess...if everything else is the *same?
9v / 18v operations?, first guess is that you'd have more headroom with greater supply voltage.

thank's petemoore,
so 18v should sound better ?

  Let me know !
Reasonable but only speculative on my part [guess].
If it does matter, it would tend to matter with higher source input voltage swings...say like HB's, Boosters and Bass..
But I don't have one to know that.
