Joe Davisson's Vulcan (really compact) perf layout

I will follow Marty's advice and build the Vulcan. I have a few 1950b-type boxes, and that's the reason why I like compact and *congested* designs .

You can use the same layout for the jfet version. I used Martys BJT vero layout with Jfets. Only a few components are of different value.

However, watch the pinouts of the transistors, you might have to twist them some.
