I can't do this stuff without my trusty hemostat.

I'll have to vote for my Leatherman Multi-tool.

I was going to second the vote for the internet, but I probably should put that in the "I got a lot more work done before Al Gore invented..." category  :P

Stainless steel dental picks (cheap Pakistan sets from one of the surplus electronic mail order places).
Solder doesn't stick to stainless steel, so if you are repairing stuff (especially double sided plated thru holes) you just melt the solder & poke it thru the hole & wiggle as the solder cools. And there's your hole back!
Plus, it reduces the temptation to use the iron tip as a prybar.. and we NEVER would do that, because it's the easiest way to wreck an iron.

Someday, find yourself a thermal wire stripper.

You will remember it as better than your first significant other.

let me remember... blonde long hair, green eyes, smart, sexy, hot, 95-60-90cm, wild look, baby skin, sun tanned, tiny bikini, a couple of nice tatoos in the right places, tantra fan...  :icon_twisted:
nop, I do not agree...  :icon_wink:
