I have two .001uf caps, and i want to add them together to make .002uf.
Ive been searching for the answer for a while.

I know they are suppose to be in parallel to add them together.
I saw a diagram somewhere before i bought the caps, and now i can't find it.

I'm trying to put them on a perfboard and I need to know which ends do you link together.

I made my own diagram....is one of these right?

The way you have them is in series.
Side by side would be parallel.

just so you know what happens with different components in series/parallel for next time: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Series_and_parallel_circuits
