Well, finally finished my second phase 45 from torchy's stripboard layout. Couldn't figure it out at first, but I finally checked the markings on the jfets with a magnifying glass and found out the guy behind the counter at Jaycar gave me mpf102s instead of the mpf106s I used in the first build and I could not get them to work. Finally got a good enough match to verify it was working but have to get another batch for a better match. So I can now put my vintage script phase 45 into retirement. This sounds close enough to the real thing for me and the univibe mod is sweet. Still not completely done (needs status LED, painting and a couple of other minor tweaks) but good enough for now. I'm moving house this weekend so everything will be packed away for a few days. Anyway here's a few pics.

Cheers

Originally I used MPF102's in mine and it worked great and I didn't match the fets yet.  I'm using 5952's now because there was an issue with when the battery gets slightly low then it wouldn't work as well.  When I put in the 5952's I also did the Uni-vibe mods also.  I matched the fets and I get a strong phase but I'm not sure yet if I'm going to keep the Uni-vibe mods.  Before the mods the phase when it peaked was a smoother transition.  With the mods when the phase reaches its peak when the LED goes on it's choppy sounding.  Right now I'll leave it though and look into building an Easy-vibe or similar and maybe remove the mods then.
Nice job on your build.  Looks really nice.  A lot better than mine I can tell ya.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I was wondering if the mods affected the circuit somehow even when off. I might have to try it without the mods, as I still prefer my old mxr pedal. I did manage to get a pair of the 102s working but they seemed to "tune in" very low on the bias pot's rotation.

Where did you get the power adapter socket? I can't find ones like that anywhere in Australia.

I used a 2.1mm on my fuzz pedal and it's too small for my daisy chain plugs which are standard size (bought from a local music store)
Also my boss psa240 won't fit. The 2.5mm are perfect

Not sure what's going on with that but 2.1 is the standard "Boss" type....
Oh , hang on,  I think some of the earlier pedals may have use a larger jack but don't quote me.
