I want to mod a fuzz pedal I recently built with a 1 pole 6 throw rotary switch at the first capacitor after the input, kinda like a thin/fat switch, but with 6 capacitors. The original schematic calls for a 2.2uF, but I was wondering what you guys think might be 6 good caps to choose from. Many thanks.

I'd go with something like .01 .02, 0.47. 1uf. 2.2uf 4.7uf.  The smaller values will be more midrage/treble and a better responce to picking and not so thick. On up from there will get more meaty and less touch sensitivity. Depends on the circuit though. If it makes sence to go higher than 4.7uf you can start at .02 and go up to 10uf, or?

You might way to place the input caps on a bread board and experiment. You may find two caps that you lik best and then you can just use a small SPDT switch to switch beween them.
