Last week I posted for help on adding a spdt switch to my Smalley boost in order to change capacitor values on the input.  This is what I came up with based on some of the replies I got.  Thanks.

I'm working from Dragonfly's Vero layout and the pots and switches (except for the one I added) have been left off to make the picture smaller.

Will the proposed secondary vero board do the trick?  My thinking is that the SPDT switch will allow me to choose which input cap I want and send it to the input of the board.  I'm still new so I don't know that I've done everything correctly or that I've even taken the most sensible approach to adding the cap selection switch.

I WELCOME any advice anyone would/could lend regarding this matter.

There are lots of ways you can do this. You can even get away with soldering the capacitors directly onto the switch.

On your image, firstly, the wires going from the board with the caps to the main one should be going to the strip lower than the one they're connect to now (as you've moved that cap that was previously there off the board). And secondly, you don't need to run 2 wires, you can build on a 3x3 peice of veroboard, just turn around the bottom capacitor.
something like this:

but you could easily get away with putting both of the capacitors directly on the main board. Just cut the trace left of the emitter of the transitor and you can easily transfer that bit of secondary breadboard directly onto there if you get the idea....

Man, I love this place.  Thanks again Seljer.  It was you that got me thinking of this in the first place.

EDIT: OH!  And I think I even get what you're saying about cutting the trace next to the emitter.  Seems I should be able to mount both like you detailed in your drawing but directly on the board.  This is fun!  Thanks again.
