OK; I got this unit to fix for a friend. Fixing was quite easy (loose battery wire) so I had some time to trace it.

Anyone know the pedal? He asked me if I could find some information about it....... I just never heard from it.

Then the sound; on the Si side of the colour switch, the unit is a normal distortion pedal that only sounds "good" with both knobs at 100% and reminds me a bit of the Distortion +. With the colour knob to the Ge side, the sound gets really muffled and only a very bassy "overdrive" can be heard, but the sound lacks the push and clarity of the other setting.

  That's a Dist-Screamer or Tubetion+
The clipping probably comes from the Opamp [lm741 as seen in DIST+] and the Feedback Loop of the Opamp [as seen in TS and TS derivatives].
I'd guess the Distortion is like a TS with a bit of DIST+ mixed in.
Looks pretty good 'on paper'...how's it sound ?
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

These guys look like they were ahead of their time with the "color" switch.  Now almos every booteek distortion has some sort of footswitchable function.
