You know, I left out a pretty important part.  The transparencies I use aren't exactly cheap.  There may be others, but I've not used anything that prints with this much contrast.  Here's the link. $.45US a page and you have to buy 100 sheets.     The good news is that they offer free samples.  I got 5-10 sheets if I remember correctly.  That's enough to do a lot of boards.
