Removing the POP from a Strobostomp?

Greetings all,
I'm getting a pop when i switch in or out the strobostomp. i know its a 'characterstic' of true bypass pedals and that you can use a 1M (or so) pull down resistor from the effect out to ground. the problem is, i cant find whats what on the switch!
has anyone done this with a strobostomp? can you give me a hint?

Connect 1M resistor to the INPUT to ground, and this will eliminate this pop

the problem is, the switch contacts all connect directly to the pcb. i think the only way to tell which one the input is would be to take the entire thing to bits and trace the board from the input to the wire.
i'll have a look and report back my findings in case anyone else is interested.

hmm.
i tried the 1M resistor and all it seemed to do is cut some top end off my signal and make everything loose and wooly in the bottom end. but still the pop.
i fear i may be taking the SS back for a refund

I never had a pop problem with mine.
I do find the input and output jacks somewhat flimsy. I e-mailed them, they said to send it in, they checked and said it was to spec. It feels like it hardly grabs the damn plugs.
Other than that I love mine.

i think the problem could be that i'm running a compressor or high gain channel, or both.
that said though, my mates korg tuner doesnt pop. but its does suck tone like a black hole.
so its a toss up between really great accurate tuning with a pop and no colouration. or so so tuning with no pop and pretty awful tone loss.
i know i should go for the SS. but i just hate the pop.

Although I am happy with my SS, no pop or jack problems, maybe try the Planet Waves tuner?  TBP, rugged construction, good price.  I'd pick one of those up if my SS was giving me grief.
