arbitor fuzz face

ive built 2 dallas arbitors one works great ,and the other its stuck at one fuzz level the pot doesnt change anything ive tested the pot and it is fine ive checked the wireing a million times and compared it to the working one. is their any other reas on why  the fuzz wouldnt be adjustable?

A couple of things come to mind....

1) You didnt say whether the PCB's were bought or you made them..... you might check the bottom of the PCB out to make sure there are no copper traces shorting out anywhere on the board.

2) While there, take a good look at the soldering and the wires inserted into the holes on the PC board.  Make sure that there are no solder bridges shorting anything out, and that no little "whiskers of wire" escaped your attention that might be causing a short.

would a bad 20uf cap cause the fuzz pot not to adjust the fuzz?
