hmmmm....

I have a bunch of old PC power supplies. I wonder if the transformers in them will work..... I even have a couple old relays somewhere.

I should have never found this forum :P

Well guys... I am thinking about using the schematic I first posted, but I dont know where all the tube pinouts are on that schematic.  It only shows 2.  Anyone know?

PCs use switching power supplies, so they don't have the sort of transformers you're thinking of.  However, they do have plain old 12V DC plugs (I'm pretty sure), as well as some others.  I'd have to check to be sure.

They're pretty big for this application, though.

Looking at the data sheet I linked to, it looks like pins 2 and 5.

Dang, thought I was going to be able to finally do something with the P-supplies.  :icon_frown:

The leads coming out are 5v, 5v-, 12v, 12v- and 5vfp

just out of curiousity, what's "vfp"? ???
