I am interested in the process of doing this.  I have done it to one thing which I will probably test this weekend.  Would you just take the preamp and convert it?  If you wanted a type of booster circuit could you take the poweramp and convert it.  I understand that certain FETs like J201s and others are good for replacing a 12ax7 tube.  I would also like to know about changing the power source from a lot of volts to only 9v.  Any value changes needed.  Maybe some pictures of an amp schematic, and then the same amp's pedal emulator would help.  Any information is welcomed. ;D

Thanks,
Kerry

Just check out all the amp simulatons at www.runoffgroove.com. Then checkout the corresponding original amp schematics at www.schematicheaven.com. Search this forum, there are lots of disussions about it here. That should get you the info you need.
