More Wah for my Wah Wah.

I recently got a Wah Wah for a present and it is pretty Crap (a Proel)
After it got broker TWICE and i returned it every time.
I kept on to this one.
I read an article on Geo Fex FAQ where someone asked 'my pedal (wah) is just sounding like a Volume/Tone Pedal.
The answer was there was a failer fron the 4uf to the 10uf Capacitor or something similar.
Now the problem is this Wah was ALWAYS like this!!.
Could i do something to give it more Wah ? (Maybe achange a capacitor ofr something?)

truth is, i CAN help, but i dont know what the innards of this sucker looks like, as ive never owned a Proel wah.

I think I remember once looking inside one (my friend also has a broken one, may not Proel though) and and seeing that it DID have an inductor (the black cylinder type one) so it'd be a clone of the standard Vox/Dunlop circuit, not 100% sure though.

This afternoon i will open my Wah and post a picture.

It's original sound/ purpose is more of a Tone Controller than a Wah! (even though it is called Proel Wah and is marked as a Wah, Wah pedal)
I want the 'Wah' sound.

I don't see any indcutor in there, so its not a Vox/Dunlop type circuit but probably a twin-T type wah ( http://geofex.com/Article_Folders/wahpedl/wahped.htm#twintee ), which usually aren't as resonant sounding as the popular Crybabies and Voxs

If you feel adventerous you could go and completely rebuild the circuitry in the inside the thing

I am a beginner and have never built a pedal i am currently ordering stuff to start the beginners project.
I doubt i would be able to build a wah wah unless someone told me what to do Step by Step, and give me a precise list of what to buy.
On the other hand ,when i get better at Pedal building the outer box , and input and output are ready.

Isn't there anything temporary i can do?
Replace the pot or something?

That's an inductorless wah. It's not going to sound real resonant no matter what you do to it, IMO. The inductor based wahs sound more resonant, and more like people are used to hearing a wah pedal do.
