Hello,
I finished Mr.EQ few days ago, it was fast build and gives very interesting result. I put it inside very small 8x5x3cm plastic enclosure and shielded it inside with aluminum foil. For IC I used CD4049UBE I got from RLBJR65, haven't tried anything else. I used official perfboard layout and all on/off/on switches cause I already had them...

Label is printed on self adhesive paper. I plan to clear coat it for protection.
I like it more after distortion. When put in front of dist it gives just slight amount of noise, but after dist it's pretty quiet. It must be proximity of wires jammed inside. Anyway, useful little tool that gives enough for experimenting.
Thanks to guys at ROG for great project.
Clips will be here soon
Cheers

I like the paint job!  Are those decals?

I built this a few months back as well and now it is a permanent fixture in my effects loop.  I didn't even put a 3DPDT in it since I always leave it on.  It has replaced my Dano Fish N Chips EQ since I mostly used that pedal to boost bass and treble fequencies  for my Strat  when playing at lower volumes.  It is also quiet and the mid boost/cut  gives you all kinds of voices for humbuckers.  I would love to see the next version of the Mr. EQ offer a presence boost and then it would really be complete.  Cool circuit nonetheless.

What do you think of it?  I think it is probably the nost underrated build I have performed yet.
builds completed: boutique fuzz, rangemaster, BSIAB2, PT-80, Tonepad wah, Ross Comp, Axis Fuzz, MOSFET boost, Thunderchief, Big Muff (triangle), Mr. EQ, Dr. Boogey,  Neovibe, Dist+, EA Tremelo, ADA Flanger, RM Octavia
next build(s): ???

yeah, I didn't include bypass switch neither.
It's one piece decal printed on ink-jet.
I think it's great little thing. Not complicated to do but gives many variations to sound.
Highy recommended build  :icon_wink:
