Gday from Oz guys,

Im having a few problems with my easyvibe build. Ive done a fair bit of research in the previous posts, but cant seem to get my head around whats going wrong on my board. My pedal is built from RG's pdf using press and peel blue to a pcb. The problem is that the LEDs are not flashing and the Depth pot appears to have no effect whatsovever..The effect part of the board is working, tested by using varying light on the LDR's. The rate pot does appear to work as moving it affects the voltage swing of P1 on U2. I have tested all voltages on all my IC's and the main differences I can see (to some working voltages posted here http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=40414.msg289975#msg289975) are that my Bias(?) voltage appears to be higher, and I am missing swinging voltages on P1-3 on U3 and P1 U4. I am assuming this is some sort of LFO issue, but am a little new to IC's and LFOs and am a little confused as to how this setup actually works, and or what each IC does.

My IC Voltages are as follows

U1
Pin
1 4.20
2 4.28
3 1.09
4 0.00
5 4.19
6 4.18
7 4.18
8 8.52

U2
Pin
1 2.57 - 5.30 (Rate pot up)
2 2.87
3 4.20
4 0.00
5 4.19
6 4.20
7 4.18
8 8.44

U3
Pin
1 4.18
2 4.20
3 4.19
4 0.00
5 4.17
6 4.23
7 4.20
8 8.51

U4
Pin
1 7.39
2 4.20
3 2.36 - 5.87
4 0.00
5 4.16
6 4.17
7 4.20
8 8.40

If anyone could give me some advice / clues this would be greatly appreiciated.

Cheers,
Gareth

look for short between traces, bad solder joints and proper orientation of electrolytic caps.

Andre

Especially look for a short between one of the pads of R18 (the one closest to the LED4) and the trace to C9.
There is very little space between them, and when shorted, the  LED's are shorted to ground.
I'm not sure if this short stops the LFO, but it's worth to check anyway.

Checked all my traces a hundred times.. Ive heard a lot about using the TL072s as in RG's layout, and was wondering would it make a difference what TL072 chip you were using? Im using a shelf brand TL072CP from Dick Smith in Australia.
