is this method correct?

I purchased the Sin Amp (sans amp clone) and in 2 locations the metallic circle on the back side of the board that the solder penetrates onto was completely missing.  Odd, but all things are subject to quality errors I suppose. 

Initially I thought I would be creative and "pull" a solder bead out onto the board where the path of the line goes, but since I am having problems with this unit actuall passing signal, I question this method for two reasons.  Is the path actually getting signal with the solder on top of it since there is a coating of "stuff" across the board?  Or since the puddle around the hole is gone, would signal be passing at all anyway? 

Pardon the terminology please 

What I am doing now is bridging these points with the next point along the path with a tiny piece of wire on the solder side of the board.  I can provide pics and exact locations if you would like.

nevermind, it worked. 
MAYBE.

Of of the IC's needed a jumper from position 1 to position 5.  I noticed this only after I shocked myself from where I was holding it and moved my finger over and viola` sound.  Then when I looked closer there are 2 locations under the IC socket where you can jump these.
But its not on the schematic?  Why not.

Anyhow.  Fun times.
