What's the best way to wire 3pdt switches?

Up to now I've wired all my 3pdt switches as seen in case "A" below.  But yesterday I came across one that was wired as seen in case "B" below.  Is one any better than the other?  Or is one more preffered in certain types of circuits and vice versa?

The only major difference I see, is that with case "B" the effect input is grounded when the effect is not in use.  Is that important?

There are some circuits which become unstable and oscillate if you open their input. Using B would prevent that. For most, it doesn't matter.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

But there's no harm in grounding the input all of the time right?
