Ok, so I've replaced the trimpots with multiturn ones, and I still cant get the jfets to bias correctly.  Is there a chance that I might need to alter some of the board resistors, like raise or lower values to get the sources higher than the gate in some sections of the pedal?  Has anyone had to do this?  I've been working on the biasing of this beast for such a long time now and I just cant get them to bias right.  I've checked most solder connections too for continuity and everything checks out ok.  I'm absolutely stumped.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

J201's.  All FETs are oriented correctly.  I'll do another quick recap of if I have the right resistor values in shortly and post back.

Ok, all resistors and caps are the correct values.  All electrolytics are oriented correctly.  I can get Q2 and Q5 biased where they would amplify a signal, but Q3's drain is set to 4.5v and the Gate is higher than the source for some reason.  Q1's drain voltage wont sit still on my multimeter, jumping all over the place from 1.0 to 3.0 then back down.  All solder connections were reheated, and I replaced that transistor with a new J201 and same problem resulted.  Q4 for some reason's drain voltage is getting higher as I turn DOWN the trimpot.  And yes I'm sure the trimpot is wired in right.

I'm seriously about to sell the whole thing for parts.  I'm sure someone can get it to work easily but I'm just fed up.
