Im planning on building this for my first build - http://www.geocities.com/tpe123/folkurban/fuzz/opampfuzz.gif.

I have a couple of questions tho.

1. How do i know which way the Resistors and Capacitors go as they are unmarked on the schematic?

2. The diodes marke Si, does that mean Silicon or Signal?  And what rating would i use?

Hi Blenji, Si means silicon and can be used for both diodes and transistors ge means germanium.

Maybe choose something a bit simpler Bazz Fuss, Buzz Box, 5th gear etc for first build. They are nice and easy give excellent results and make you learn and experiment on the way.

Resistors are not directional...either way is fine.   Same for caps...unless they are polarised...in which case there will be a *+* or a *-* sign on them.
