DIY BYOC build, no work with line 6 spider II ?

I have made 2 builds of the same tubescreamer board. identical components, identical wiring. One works with my line 6 spider one doesn't. Now here is the kicker, they BOTH work plugged into my Rockman. ANY assistance would be helpful.

now, i understand that i have BYOC support, however i believe that this might be helpful to other bulders that might run across this. remember that both units work, just one works with the line 6 the other doesn't. i aplolgize if i broke any decorum on this board. just was hoping for some insight from other builders that might understand this better than i do.

Can you explain what it is that don't work? No sound? Sounds bad? What Rockman gear is it that they both work with?

No output whatsoever, and the rockman is a X-100 unit, 80's vintage. Thanks for your response.

My apologies - re-reading my post I sounded like a jerk, I should've put a smiley in there. 

Are they both connected the same either way? Same power supply/same cords/etc?

It *shouldn't* make a difference if you are plugging a pedal into something different.

same bat time same bat channel, all the same cords the same 9v battery, this has got me stummped ! i have the feeling that it might be as simple as one of the component values might be slightly off. I Dunno though.

*** new information the rockman works as a stompbox guitar-rockman-amp however, put the tubescreamer in before the rockman and no output throught the amp. but in the headphones I can increase/decrease tone, volume and drive. ****

it just keeps getting better !

FOUND IT !!!! As I had feared the 10uf electrolytic is crap. Picked one up at Crap Shack and voila works!!! Thanks for the replies !

How does it sound through the Line 6?
In my experience, digital amps/preamps/fx units don't like analog pedals, esp. od/dist pedals.

not my favorite sound, the line 6 is the only amp that I have here in my house, the rest of the equipment is in my dad's basement. this build is for my 14 year old. eventually he'll be using this with a mesa boogie tube head. but i think you have the right description of the disimilarity in the tone.
