Hi, all

Been Ages since i posted ,   but had to tell people about a mod / new pedal hack.

I've turned the 'filter' section of an old 1973 roland ep-10 into a 'pedal'  for use with guitar. It has 4 different  presets

two are fairly bassy and one quite mid another quite thin.  Simply i put a jack on the input from the signal,

and re-connected the filter inside the control unit ( not inside the keys section ) and thats it.

Its kind of like a wah or parametric eq with 4 fixed settings.... hopefully i'll work out or get some help,  with the circuit  so as to add pot /

swappable etc to make it more flexible.

The tap from the  transformer is 13.5v  so , perhaps it can be run from 9v with lower head room or ,18v for more?

It needs a true bypass , and greatly needs a  buffer as the  tone is way sucked , however a boss pedal front fixes that right up...

here's a pic ....

is there anywhere to upload an audio clip ( were you don't have to register )

nice and original no cost idea  ;D
was there no way to save the ep-10? getting kind of interested, because 1973 is pretty old for a synth
although great looking the knob interface is kind of ill suited to the purpose.

would like to hear some samples, too.
