So, I finally bit the bullet and etched myself a PCB board.  It's a distortion + from the tonepad site.  Man, big thanks to them for a really fun build.  And thanks to all of you for all the board etching advice.  I used the photopaper method with my fifty dollar samsung laser printer (I love newegg).

Also, I got a really nice set of drill bits for use on the board from a company called Drill City.  They have a Yahoo store front and their prices are real reasonable.  http://drillcity.stores.yahoo.net/index.html

Anyway, the Disto + was just okay with my tele but got a bit trebly.  Then I plugged in my Non-Reverse firebird.  HOLY CRAP!  What a difference.  I really liked it cranked all the way with the firebird.  I did find that if I roll the distortion off a bit, it suits the tele very well.

Not much in the finish department...seems I get less into paint and finish as I build more pedals...wonder why.  Anyway, thanks again all.

Cool !! Gotta luv that DIST+.
I put a CP in a rough looking wood box, then cut holes into for knobs, and a piece out of a Crown Royal bag, so I have the gold R in the middle, and the purple cloth fits between other pedals on two sides and top...I just dust it off and make the bed, there it stays...LoL funky lookin' pedal board...now I'm off to spruce up the washing machine !!!

Nice!
Is it ABSOLUTELY quite when you turn your guitar volume knob at 0?
