Btw, just remembered something about brass. Brass is harder than copper or aluminum, so it could be a good thing or not, depending on how you use it.

You must use a stronger glue than for aluminium in some occasions. The 3M glue worked perfectly, but I had a problem once with some double-side tape and brass on a flat surface.
