Depending on how hard the modularized phaser is to build, I guess I could rework the FxBus into a 1590N. But you're really strapped for ways to put controls on the boards.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

Please don't feed the R.G. phaser... :icon_mrgreen: :icon_mrgreen:

It would be nice...

Controls could be in a kind of second box screwed  (or not) someway on the firdt one.

I should try to find some.

Sounds like a great idea to me! Edge connectors mounted in the box, make a bunch of boards, add jumpers as needed, and you could roll your own custom boxes in about ten minutes! Like Gilles says, controls (and switching, for that matter) could be in a separate box, using shielded and/or twisted pair flat cable and DB9 connectors, or something similar. Talk about versatile; envelope follower plus VCF = auto-wah, EF plus inverter plus VCA = compressor, LFO plus VCA = trem, the list is endless!
