Hey everyone! I've been using these forums for information for a looooong time, but I finally became a member! I have a quick question for those enclosure builders out there: How and what do you use to close an enclosure? I've been using sheet metal screws, but aften opening and closing an enclosure a bunch that way, the screw holes get worn out... So, what should I use to fasten my enclosures closed? Thanks!

  Cool, welcome !

Raco screws into Raco box screw holes, or computer salvage screws into wood.

What are they screwed in to?
When threads get stripped I try to find the next size bigger self tapping screw and drill bit 'set'.
An alternative would be JB Weld, which could be added to the sides of the screwhole, then tapped into...I would think that'd give enough bite...haven't tried that exactly.
