i have a technical question, i have used toroids in data applications as suppression inductors, do they have any use in audio applications for the same purpose?

cheers

You can make inductors for use in audio circuits, all right.

But quite a lot of audio circuits are made explicitly to NOT use inductors, the notable exception being the Vox wah circuit and some graphic EQs.

You can use them for power filtering between stages, but we already get away with not doing that. With a good battery or a good regulator, there's not much on the power supplies to suppress.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

Paul Perry (Frostwave)

Can be useful for supressing radio signal breakthrough in fuzzes.
