Does anybody know equivalents to 2SC539 NPN transistor?

Hi all,

I purchased some 2SC539 transistors from eBay for my projects, but they never arrived! 

Could I please have suggestions for equivalents that can be used?

So 2N5088/9 or BC549 would be suitable

  Any NPN, When in doubt use 2n5088.
  Unless you have a specific gain range your'e looking for [Like for use in FF or say a negistor circuit] or some other specific requirement [can't think of any]...basically stick any NPN Si where one would go and it'll go...
