Some Shielding questions

I´ve been reading almost all the shielding posts. I decided to use aluminium tape. 

1)Should i first shield the box, or cut the holes?
2)What should the foil touch, and what not?
3)How do i secure the foil to the box?

What exactly do you want to shield? A non metal enclosure I suppose... I always use aluminium foil for guitars, works great and really cheap and easy to apply in one piece

1) first cut holes, then shield, then you can cut out the aluminium over the holes
2) the foil should touch casings of pots and all other metal material used on the box.
3) sprayon glue works perfectly when applied on both sides, mask the rest with tape

and waht about wires?? should i connect some wire to this or something similar like the ground trace in the board???
i suppose that the 3pdt also has to touch the foil, right?

can i use stick glue to stick the foil?
