hello mates.
well, I had a stock boss sd-1 that I bought. I did it the keeley mod and it worked for few seconds, after it the pedal just doesn't work at all. it does not bypass and the led as well.
for some reason, some wires had disconnected from the circuit, but right after one disconnected I soldered it back, all the wires are soldered as it should be (99.9%).

help me?
edit: shit! all the wires from the board are disconnecting... but why??  :'( why??

(can't edit the first one)
now I KNOW my wiring is not correct. I looked in a picture of how it was wired first before the mode. I re-wired some of them, but the red wires - don't know which to where, and a grey one that comes out from a jack.
what is the chance I can get this pedal working again?

if you slow down and get the schematic or a layout to follow, you can revive it. it sounds like you just accidentally heated some solder joints while doing the mod and so the wires weren't fixed to the board as wel as before. slow down and just rettach them. make sure you don't hit any other joints while resoldering them to the board.

How would a schematic help me? the wires connections is ordered differently... I know I didn't heat these joints because they are many, and the most important - the wire's copper stays in place but the wire disconnects. the wire just "breaks".

Can someone open his boss and help me with the red wires - which one to where (on the board there is a number for each wire). or just exlpain how should every wire be wired?
Thanks. and sorry for my bad English.
:D

(didn't find a pcb so it doesn't help. I would re wire it as I know but there are 15-16 out and I don't know how to do it. I don't understand the switch/jack either)

if you look at the DC Jack, you see the blue wire on the right, the other two are red wires. So blue is on the right, the middle wire goes to the battery and the left wire goes to 13.

Looking at the back of the drive pot, a red wire connects to the right terminal to number 2.

Something realy bad is going on with my pedal. almost all the wires disconnected...
when you say to battery you mean to the battery's wirer right? not something on the board... and the grey wire that comes out of Input jack?
I thing I may explanation of all the wires.. I afraid they will disconnect soon again.
by the way, when I solder the wires to the joints it solders great, not chance to get out.. realy wierd.

Hi Tamir:

If you have a digital camera and can take a few shots of your wiring, perhaps we can offer some suggestions.

Also, here is a link to a nice mod overview from Robert Keeley that may help you fin the proper locations for some of your loose wires. Good luck!
